Overview
Pearl MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementation that exposes Pearl's AI and Expert services through a standardized interface. It enables MCP clients like Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible apps to interact with Pearl's AI assistants and human experts. The server supports both stdio and SSE transports, integrates with the Pearl API for AI and expert assistance, and offers session management for continuous conversations. It provides multiple interaction modes—AI-only for quick automated responses, AI-Expert for AI-assisted human support, and Expert for direct human assistance—along with conversation history tracking and stateful session management. The server exposes tools such as ask_pearl_ai, ask_pearl_expert, and ask_expert, plus get_conversation_status and get_conversation_history, with expert categories spanning Medical & Healthcare, Legal & Financial, Technical & Professional, Education & Career, and Lifestyle & Personal. It can be run locally or accessed via a hosted Pearl MCP service (mcp.pearl.com/mcp) and connected to via local stdio or mcp-remote bridges. A Pearl API key is required.
