Overview

Real-time earthquake MCP server delivering data from the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD). It exposes tools to fetch recent earthquakes, filter by magnitude, search by location (Thai/English), and obtain comprehensive statistics, including large dangerous events. Data are provided with date/time in UTC and Thai time, coordinates, epicenter depth, magnitude, event location in Thai, and additional details. The API endpoints and resources include precise tools: get_earthquakes (limit default 10), get_earthquakes_by_magnitude (min_magnitude default 3.0), get_earthquakes_by_location (location name in Thai/English), get_earthquake_summary, get_large_earthquakes (magnitude_threshold default 5.0), plus resources earthquake://latest and earthquake://today. The server uses Python 3.10+, pip, and requires Internet for TMD API access. It integrates with Claude Desktop for Claude-based workflows and Inspector. The API is designed for regional and global seismic activities, with real-time updates and the ability to perform location and magnitude-based queries, risk-focused filtering, and statistical summaries.
