Overview

Graphlit's Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server enables seamless integration between MCP clients and the Graphlit service. It ingests data from Slack, Discord, websites, Google Drive, email, Jira, Linear, and GitHub into a Graphlit project, which serves as a centralized, searchable, and RAG-ready knowledge base across developers and product management tools. Ingested documents (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, HTML, etc.) and web pages are extracted to Markdown, and audio/video content is transcribed to text. Web crawling and web search are built-in MCP tools, eliminating the need for external crawlers. MCP clients such as Cursor, Windsurf, Goose, and Cline can read and query the knowledge base to perform retrieval-augmented generation. The MCP Server supports configuration via environment variables (GRAPHLIT_ENVIRONMENT_ID, GRAPHLIT_ORGANIZATION_ID, GRAPHLIT_JWT_SECRET) accessible in the Graphlit Platform API settings dashboard. It also offers publishing options (audio via ElevenLabs and image via OpenAI), a broad set of data connectors, and web tools to support diverse workflows. Additional resources include the Graphlit blog, a YouTube tutorial, and a Discord community for questions.
