Overview

Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for the JFrog Platform API, an experimental implementation that enables repository management, build tracking, runtime monitoring, mission control, and more via MCP. It supports repository creation and management across local, remote, and virtual types, AQL-based artifact searches, and folder property operations; build listing and per-build details; runtime management to view runtime clusters, access specific cluster information, and enumerate running container images across clusters. Additionally, it offers Mission Control visibility to associated JFrog Platform instances, and Catalog and Curation capabilities to fetch package information, versions, vulnerabilities, and curation status; and Xray-derived artifact vulnerability summaries. The project includes setup steps, environment variables, and deployment options (including SSE transport), and is explicitly described as experimental and not officially supported by JFrog. An official, hosted MCP server is available from JFrog for production use, offering improved security and support.
