Overview
Crypto Indicators MCP Server provides a broad library of cryptocurrency technical analysis indicators and related trading strategies as an MCP server. It features 50+ indicators across trend, momentum, volatility, and volume categories, along with corresponding strategies that output signals (-1 for SELL, 0 for HOLD, 1 for BUY). The design is modular, organizing indicators and strategies into categorized modules for easy maintenance and extension. The server defaults to Binance as the data source but can be configured to any exchange supported by ccxt, enabling flexible data feeds for testing and live trading. It is designed to integrate with MCP clients (for example Claude Desktop) by supplying a configuration snippet that defines the command, arguments, and environment variable EXCHANGE_NAME. The README provides usage examples such as calculating MACD indicators and RSI-based signals, and the project is MIT licensed with Node.js v18.x compatibility. Overall, it enables AI trading agents to efficiently analyze market trends and generate robust quantitative strategies that can plug into automated trading workflows.
