Transcribe MCP is an MCP server that instantly connects your account to AI assistants like Claude Desktop, Windsurf, Cursor, and more so they can automate tasks on your behalf. The Local Server can add local files for transcription and return results to your assistant in seconds. It is fast, lightweight, and LL M-friendly, requiring no special ASR models or heavy Python setup, with quick turnaround times. It supports high-quality transcriptions across 100+ languages, including word-level timestamps and speaker separation. It handles a wide variety of formats out-of-the-box and offers cloud storage for your audio notes and records. Collaboration is supported via Transcribe.com teams. For local installation, you can install via the MCP Bundle (MCPB) with one-click installation, secure environment variable configuration, automatic dependency management, built-in error handling, and automatic updates. There are two installation options for Claude Desktop: Double-Click and Manual, both requiring you to configure the MCP integration URL. For other assistants, you can add the Local Server via your assistant settings and point it to your MCP integration URL using an npx-based command, with MCP_INTEGRATION_URL provided as an environment variable.
