Overview
The Voyp MCP server implements the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to let AI systems securely interact with VOYP’s calling capabilities and data sources. It enables AI assistants to construct robust call contexts, search for business information while on a call, and perform actions such as making appointments, reservations, consultations, and inquiries. The server can provide real-time or final call status and supports terminating calls (hang up) as part of MCP tool usage. It is designed to work with compatible MCP clients like Claude Desktop and Goose, and exposes a remote streamable endpoint (https://api.voyp.app/mcp/stream) with OAuth2 authentication via the Authorization: Bearer <token> header. Deployment options include installation via Smithery, running with NPX, or a Git-based setup. Configuration for Claude Desktop involves adding the Voyp MCP server to the client’s mcpServers JSON, supplying your VOYP API key.
