Overview
ChatNode provides AI support agents you train on your website, documentation, and knowledge bases to deliver human-like customer support, perform real actions (API calls, Stripe billing, Calendly/Cal.com scheduling), and escalate to live agents with full conversational context. It offers a no-code/visual designer for building agents, multi-model support per task, multi-channel deployment (website widget, Slack, Notion, Zendesk, etc.), and built-in analytics (deflection, time saved, action success) plus lead capture tools. Training sources include site crawling, file uploads, and integrations (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Notion, and others). The product supports automated "AI Actions" for completing tasks, live agent handoff with contextual history, onboarding credits and a guided Getting Started flow (setup steps can earn up to ~250 setup credits), and a credit-based consumption model. Pricing has four publicly listed tiers (Lite, Standard, Scale, Enterprise — contact sales for Enterprise pricing) and a set of add-ons (extra credits, auto-recharge, extra agents, custom domain, custom branding). Security and privacy features noted on the site include AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, a zero-retention policy for user inputs, workspace/org-level access controls and row-level controls, sensitive-data redaction tools, audit logs, GDPR/DPA compliance with a Data Processing Agreement, and a Trust/Compliance portal listing subprocessors. The extractor used to collect this information encountered limits: the /features page returned 404 at the time of check, and automated pricing-table extraction hit validation limits (long plan feature lists flagged), so per-plan feature matrices should be validated directly on the pricing page or via sales.
